The Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences curriculum prepares undergraduate students for exciting careers in wildlife and fisheries conservation and management. Because of its broad scope, degrees in mathematics prepare students for many different careers and the department offers a variety of such degrees and emphases to provide students with several blends and specialties according to their interests and goals. Be accepted by a research program and be sponsored by a faculty member of the area (required only for programs in ecology and evolutionary biology). Course sequencing of MyMAPs aligns with the courses offered each semester, adheres to all prerequisite requirements, and maximizes any overlap between General Education and preparation for the major courses. Special studies opportunities with SDSU faculty and scientists at cooperating institutions allow qualified students to gain research experience on an individual basis.
